How many times have you done that in your life? 100,000? 1,000,000? It’s muscle memory at this point, right?

Wouldn’t you rather add a few steps to that for each file? Open your browser, login, browse (wait, who set up this folder structure?), download, edit, save, re-upload, decide whether to overwrite, … Didn’t think so.

With Oxygen Virtual Drives, you just browse, double-click, edit, save.

Now imagine being able to do that on any desktop or laptop you have, across Windows and Mac, with all your files. No more need to send yourself emails with attachments or carry around that USB memory stick that you lose every month or so.

Tablets and smartphones and “ice cream sandwich?” Yeah, those work too. No more need for the hated VPN just to grab a file.

Now add Jae the PM and Tina the engineer, and they too can see your files on their desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone (and you can see theirs). Network drives and SharePoint? Why bother?

Browse, double-click, edit, save. That’s what we mean by a “virtual drive.”

  • It gives you access to all your content, on any device, anywhere you are, without giving up your data.
  • It works natively on your desktop so you don’t have to fiddle around with a browser, or with add-on applications that resemble a file explorer, but behave completely differently.
  • It gives you access to your team’s content too, but it is better than a classic network share because you can see group content with centralized control AND access it offline with local performance. Many of our customers and partners have commented that Oxygen is like the next generation of the network drive or home directory.
  • It only locally stores what you select, instead of making uncontrolled copies of content. All the other vendors use a copy everywhere architecture to take your content into their data center (or worse, a third-party data center on top of their own data center) and then make copies of the source to spread across your devices.
  • When the Oxygen Virtual Drive stores a local copy, it is encrypted with government-grade AES 256, under centralized control, and only decrypted when necessary. Admins can instantly revoke access to content at the endpoint and prevent data leakage.
Next – the unique Open Storage Grid architecture – all the benefits of software on-demand, without the trade-offs.
